About Me:
I am currently a junior. I am a cool and laid back person, who enjoys a good laugh. I am very resourceful person, working towards a career in child development in the medical field.
Recent Experience(s):
My recent experiences include becoming Academic Excellence Chairperson for the 2008-09 school year and the 2009-2010 school year, completing research in the nutritional science department at UConn a few summers ago, and when not studying traveling throughout the country.
List atleast one major aspect you like about NSBE:
One major aspect I like about NSBE is the leadership opportunities.
What do you like best about of your current office position?
As the Academic Excellence Chairperson I enjoy seeing members getting the most out of their education, whether they are getting tutored or studying by themselves or in groups. As a result I am motivated in my own course work and more willing to help with any resource or questions that members may need help with.
What message would you like to give new and existing members?
My message to new and existing members is to not take being a member of NSBE for granted. If you put forth the effort in becoming involved and taking leadership opportunities thrown your way, the sky is the limit.
