About Me:
My name is Jannel James. I have been involved in NSBE since I was a sophomore in high school and I have had that NSBE Fiyah ever since. As the Community Service Chairperson, I have scheduled many events throughout the year that will promote NSBE as well as positively impacting the community. I hold NSBE dear to my heart and I strive to implement its mission into others. In anticipation of graduating, I have hopes of becoming a Sales Engineer.
Recent Experience(s):
Founder of the Capital Preparatory Magnet School NSBE Chapter, Co-PCI Chairperson of the UC-NSBE, NEZ Programs Chairperson, and Regional Junior Executive Board Coordinator. Foodshare volunteer, and an active member of The Pentecostals of East Hartford.
List at least one major aspect you like about NSBE:
There are many reasons I love NSBE, however the one major aspect that I like the most is the skills that are taught in preparation of our professional career.
What do you like best about your current office position?
Giving back to others who are less fortunate.
What message would you like to give new and existing members?
NSBE is a wonderful organization to be a part of, you may not be able to manage time, but you can prioritize.
